Another gem from Nana’s shoebox it’s the Aussie classic Pavlova, I remember them as so light and dry on the outside, and at first, bite would just evaporate on your tongue! Inside it was sweet and sticky full of fresh cream. This was something you could eat for lunch or dinner.
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Castor Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Ordinary Sugar
- 4 Egg Whites
- 1 Tea Spoon of Vanilla
- 1 Tea Spoon of Vinegar
Method: Beat egg white until stiff add Sugar, Vanilla and Vinegar beat until thick about 1/4 hour. Pour into a lined cake tin and bake in a low oven for 3/4 hour.
