Sherried Chocolate Fudge

This is a simple and quick Sherried Chocolate Fudge for the Christmas Season, make this one up and let us know what you think?

Ingredients:

  • 185g (6oz) can evaporated milk
  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 110g packet white marshmallows
  • ll5g (4oz) dark chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons sweet sherry

Method:
Stir sugar. salt and milk in saucepan, over low heat until sugar has dissolved. Brush down sides of saucepan with brush dipped in hot water, making sure there are no sugar crystals on sides of pan. Bring to boil, boil gently 5 minutes, stirring
constantly, remove from heat, add chopped marshmallows, chopped chocolate, vanilla and sherry, stir until marshmallows and chocolate have melted and mixture begins to thicken. Pour into greased 20cm ( 8in) tin lined with greased
grease proof paper. When set. cut the fudge into squares.
